... luddites suffer for being only reminded of what they are against and not celebrated for what they are for. I dream of a new dictionary definition that reminds us of how we yearn for the humaness of face to face interaction, of how we miss that special space between letter written and letter received, how we liked the feel of rough, itchy hand made hessian cloth against our bare skin, the thrill of trying to build a fire on a damp cold day when all the wood won't take and the stink of steaming green kindling fills our unventilated wattle and daub huts.... yeah, we are FOR some things too.
