post a comment, for christ's sake

I'm so thankful to have readers. Maybe equally thankful for my site meter which lets me know I have readers. But, come on, guys. Would it kill y'all to post a comment once in awhile? I read other blogs, I see all their comments and... frankly... I'm feeling a little left out. A little... neglected or unloved or something. And a little jealous.

Just one little comment, every now and again. To say something like "hey, that's interesting," or, "you're dumb." Just whatever comes to mind. Please?

Hello:
You visited my blog inquiring about the moon calender. Well if you're still interested in putting one on your site, here is the link you'll need to do that.

Also if you're having trouble with spam, a good way to reduce that problem is to enable your word verification for comments, under your blog settings. I used to get lots of spam and I know how annoying that can be, but I haven't gotten any since I enabled this feature.

Best regards, from a semi-anonymous lurker.

i like what rufus writes, "none of our business...." other than the coming back daily, that's our business.... but giving feedback... well, that's a whole different kettle of fish
thanks for the invitation though

ok, ok. i like what rufus says too. but come on. i feel a little lonely sometimes. i'm not asking for a critique of how i'm running my personal life. i just wonder sometimes: what are you thinking when you're reading this personal stuff of mine? does it remind you of things in your own life? does it evoke particular memories? feelings? does it make you uncomfortable? i just wonder, that's all. just curious.

Hi rpp,
I just found your blog through Cym. Haven't read much so far, but I'm intrigued by your idea of celebrating a secular lent, as this is my first Lent not being catholic.

I totally understand your feelings of "is anybody listening?" It was that way on my blog for a loooong time, even though my whole family knew about it. It is something about the personal content that is hard to comment on, I think. It wasn't until I started saying things my family disagrees with that I started to get comments, and even those are limited to the most outspoken member of the family. Rest assured that you do have an audience, obviously, even if it is silent. If you mostly write about personal stuff, I'd focus your request for comments more specifically towards friends and family that share in that personal stuff, although that approach has obviously delivered limited results for me. Really, all you can do is be patient and keep speaking your truth. I look forward to exploring your blog more in the future.

Well, I look for blogs where I can post comments on, and thank you for allowing me to, on your blog. :-)
