big harvest moon

I just read in Yahoo!News that the full moon tonight will appear to be about 12% bigger than usual because the moon is near perigree, the point on its elliptical orbit when it is closest to Earth. Lovely. So don't miss this chance to go out and see a very fat and gorgeous harvest moon. :-)
